Santa comes to town

We went to meet Santa this morning. I wanted to go early so there would be no lines and she was Santa's 2nd picture of the year. LOL No smile but she is not in tears and is looking at the camera so I call it a success.

Breastfeeding = HARD!

Sarah was a breeze to breastfeed from day 1. I always thought myself to be really lucky b/c people talk about the sore nipple, bad latches, clogged ducts, etc and we never had any of that.

Fast forward to 7 weeks old and it all goes to hell and a hand basket. Her reflux makes feeding her absolute torture for her an me. She just screams and fights and I feel awful for her. We are still working on getting her dosage right and her meds were up'ed for a second time today. More often then not we are both in tears at some feeding during the day.

It is getting to the point now where I am dreading her feedings some days and I feel awful for it. I just want to give it all up and throw my hands up in the air. I know that isn't the answer not b/c I think formula is bad but it tends to make reflux worse since you lose the natural antacid property with BM.

I guess my next step is to eliminate dairy and to be completely honest, I am not excited. So much for thinking it got easier as she got older....

To end on a happier note here's Sarah!

We have crib success

It took 3 nights but last night slept from 8:30pm to 6am without one wake up. Hooray!! Tonight will be the real test to prove that last night was not a fluke. The whole thing was exhausting so I will be very happy to get back to our normal sleep schedule.

Friday, November 5, 2010

Transition to the crib...

might be the end of me. Last night Sarah slept for 3 hours and then was up every 20 min from 12:30am to 3am and then slept until 5 and was up for the day. Shoot me now! She is already resisting going down tonight so I am certain I am up for the same song and dance tonight.

Last night it was replace bink, restart mobile every 20 min. Please child SLEEP!!! She would not even nap today which pretty much made for an awful day. Sarah please oh please sleep...momma needs to sleep too.

2 Month Stats

Sarah had her 2 month well check this morning. Outside of the reflux, (which the pedi is not worried about) Sarah is doing perfect! Here are her stats:

Weight: 12lbs 1oz 75%-90%
Height: 23in 75%
Head: 15 3/8in 50%-75%

She is still sleeping 10-11 hours at night which is GREAT! She is not a great napper which the doc said is very normal for a 2 month old who sleeps so much at night. I don't think she is ever going to be a great daytime sleeper. But I cannot complain much since she sleeps through the night.

She got 4 shots and an oral vaccine. That was just heartbreaking for me! I hate to hear her cry from pain. She is sleeping it off in her crib now. I am hoping to have her sleeping in her crib at night soon. We are working on naps right now.

So all in all she is doing great and growing perfectly!

So sorry for dissappearing

Life has been very crazy over the last month. I promise I will be better about updating. Today Sarah is 2 months old. That just seems crazy to me!

We survived our first trip together. We had a great time in OKC and Burk. It was certainly an adventure flying alone with Sarah and it was so much easier coming home since I had Michael's help.

Today Sarah was diagnosed with reflux and put on Zantac so we are fighting that battle right now. It was so awful to hear her cry from the pain when I tried to feed her. It just broke my heart. I hope she starts to feel better soon. She has her 2 month well check on Monday and I will get updated stats for her then.

Outside of that we are just getting used to day to day life still. I am sure I will upload some halloween photos this week.

Bottles and pumps galore

I have become a human milk machine. If I am not nursing, I am pumping now. I have discovered the most unfun thing in the world...being hooked up to a pump. blah! Sarah took her first bottle today and she ate like a champ with it. I was a little iffy about how it would go and you would think she ate with them from day 1. Guess no I have no excuse to keep up with my pumping. Guess I need to teach Michael our bedtime routine so I can take a night off every once and awhile.

Photo Friday

Okay...here is something I am going to try and keep up with. I want to post every Friday with photos from the week. Here is this week.

Not sure why this photo is sideways but oh well.

3 weeks

Get excited...Sarah slept through the night last night!!! 9:30pm-7am! Oh the heaven's have opened upon us! I hope this becomes a pattern for her. Sarah is doing very well but has become quite fussy in the evening. This is pretty normal for her age though. This our first week completely on our own and I have to say, I think it is going well. Only one day were both of us cried so far. Monday was a rough day...all she did was fuss from morning to night. We have even made tow outings on our own this week. I am quite proud.

So all in all there is not a lot going on around here. We are just taking everything hour by hour and day by day.

2 Weeks

Sarah had her two week check up today and she is doing great! She weights 8lbs 8ozs now and is 21 3/8 inches long. She needs to be gaining about 1/2 oz a day and she is at over an ounce right now. I confirmed that I don't have to wake her up at night which makes me feel much better about letting her sleep for chunks of time when
I can get it. She goes back at 2 months for her next well check but the doc says that I am welcome to bring her in if I am worried about her fussing around 4-6 weeks. I guess this is a common time for her to ramp up her fussiness and lots of new parents bring their little ones in. I love her pediatrician! Also, we did our first feeding and diaper change outside of the house at the doctor's office. Thankfully that went well too.

This is my last full week with help so I am doing my best to enjoy every second before Sarah and I are on our own. SCARY! :)

Boy Sarah just keeps me guessing

So we are making small progress in the sleep department. I can now get 4-5 hour chunks of sleep at night if I let Sarah sleep in her swing. I REALLY did not want to go down that path but sleep depreciation will make you do what you need to do. I just keep telling myself she is to young to develop bad habits yet. That's my mantra right now but oh I hope this does not come back to bite me.

Buuuut...here is what I cannot figure out. The only way I can get her down at night is her swing but during the early morning and during the day she will go down just fine in her pack and play which is where I want her sleeping at night. Sigh...she wins yet again. I will just bask in the small amounts of sleep I am getting now instead of being up all night with her like when we first came home.

I will leave you with a new photo of her cuteness!

Monday, September 6, 2010

Oh how I miss sleep...

It's not that I don't love this special time I get with Sarah....but its currently 5:30am and I have yet to be able to go to sleep. She keeps teasing me with it too. Allowing me to put her down and get comfortable and then 5 min or less later she is back up. I knew the sleep deprivation would be hard but I actually hallucinated a conversation with Michael yesterday.

I think we might have cloth diaper success

So today was a day of firsts. Yes, it is 4:30am and I am updating my blog. I am just getting Sarah down for the night so I figured there is no better time to get a quick update in before I go to bed.

Sarah had her first bath today. She was not a huge fan of it but we got some good pictures and she just knocked out after it. So I guess it will be something good for the evenings. I will post the photos later as Michael needs to process them.

Also, we started her on cloth diapers this afternoon and then I did them overnight. I used one of her fitteds and some of her prefolds. I survived several wet diaps and even one poop one. I think the poop is easier to deal with in the cloth then the disposable. So I think I can start to call cloth diapering a success. I have to teach my mom and Michael how to fold the prefolds tomorrow so that I am not always the one on diaper duty.

Well I better get some sleep while I can. Happy Labor Day!

Our new love!

I wouls like to introduce Sarah Elizabeth to the world. She arrived at 10:10pm on Monday August 30th via c-section. We are in love!!

She was born at 7lbs and 12 oz and 19.5 inches long. I think she is beautiful, but then I might be biased.

Later this morning we have our first pediatrician appointment this morning to check her weight and her bilirubin levels. She only lost 8% of her body weight at the hospital so she is a rock star on that account.

We had our first night at home last night and well lets say I have lost all track of night and day and it was a bit interesting. Thankfully I got her down for one 4 hour stretch and I was able to get some rest after I sent Michael to bed. She is sweetly sleeping in her swing right now since she is happy to have a full stomach and clean bottom.

40 weeks....

Well the pictures was at 40 weeks but this is really 40 weeks 2 days. Well my due date has come and gone and Beany has not arrived yet. Each additional day I am pregnant I inch closer and closer to insanity. She is still doing well and I am now 1cm dilated and 70% effaced. She is at -2 station which is great since she was at -4 last friday. I am really, I mean REALLY hoping she comes this weekend.

I went to the MN state fair. Michael was working in the wind energy area of the fair and I had the afternoon off so I thought what better way to get out and keep walking. I had a good time there but I sorely overestimated my walking endurance. I was hurting! I am hoping I did some good though. I am going to be sore tomorrow I think.

Well that is about it this week. I am just in a holding pattern until she arrives. I have my next doc appt on Tuesday and if she is not here by then, then we will probably induce before Friday.

Tuesday, August 24, 2010

Tomorrow is my due date and I am still pregnant

Today might not be my best day. I am tired and I have a headache. I think if one more person asks if the baby is here yet, I might scream! It will be absolutely obvious when she has made her arrival. The thought of potentially going almost two more full weeks and getting 1000 questions between now and then makes me want to personally remove her. I know people ask b/c they care but I don't need any additional reminders that I am still pregnant and still VERY uncomfortable.

Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!! That's how I feel today.

Monday, August 23, 2010

Hit a new milestone tonight...

My stomach can now hold my bowl of cereal for me. Oh how the mighty have fallen...LOL Looks like I will be up late again tonight. I am hoping not to repeat Saturday night when I was up from 12:30am to 5am. Gotta work tomorrow so I gotta get to sleep at some point. Beany please make your debut soon!!

Follow up Doc Appt

Today I had my follow up for my trouble on Wednesday. Beany passed her biophysical profile with flying colors today and I had another full doc appt which was a surprise to me. So I met with the same doctor I saw on Wednesday and I really like him. I hope he is on call when Beany comes. Well she and I are still doing well and I am 60%$ effaced, very soft and still a fingertip dilated. I got back to the office on my due date and will have to start the discussion of how long they will let me go if she is not here yet. It appears that labor day weekend is going to be the limit...but that seems like absolute ages away!

39 Weeks

1 week to go. It has been a rough two days. Yesterday I was so exhausted I felt like I was hit by a Mack truck and today I spent most of the day extremely nauseous. I am hoping for a better day tomorrow.

Well this afternoon got interesting. I just got home from the hospital. So here goes...

I had an appointment at the doc's at 2pm and I am starting to efface and are a finger tip dilated. The was the most painful internal exam yet. I don't know what he was doing but oh boy did it hurt.

Well Beany has not been moving around much so I mentioned it so he sent me to the hospital for a NST and biophysical profile. Beany passed the NST with flying colors but only got a 6/8 on the biophysical profile for not practicing to breath during the time limit. I am home now but I have to go back to the doc on Friday for another biophysical profile and I have to keep record of my kick counts as well now.

A regular doc appt sure did turn into a interesting afternoon with a 3 hour trip to the hospital.

I am hoping she will make her grand appearance before my next weekly appointment which is on my due date.

Quick Update

Still here and still cooking. I have a doctor's appt tomorrow afternoon. We shall see what find out then.

38 Weeks

This week's picture is different since Michael is in Wisconsin for the day and won't be home until late. Well I just got back from my doctor's appt and there is not much more progress but I am starting to thin out. That is something so I guess I should not be disappointed but I am really starting to be ready for her to be here. Other then that I have been having false labor off and on since Saturday and I am pretty darn sore from her being so low.

We bought a new car last night. I LOVE my new CRV. It is nice to have all the car stuff taken care of now. That's about all I have to update now as we are just getting really anxious for her arrival now.

Monday, August 9, 2010

Just thought I would check in...

Nothing too much going on here right now. Friday afternoon I pretty much put the finishing touches on Beany's room and got all her stuff washed. I think we are officially "ready" for her to arrive. I have been having inconsistent contractions since Saturday night but I know I could go on like that for weeks. My next doctor appt is Wednesday morning. Fingers crossed she comes sooner rather then later b/c man it is HOT outside!

Full Term: 37 Weeks

3 weeks to go. So it is official, Beany can come anytime now. I posted the doctor update yesterday but the two of us are still doing well and the doctor thinks she may come early. Only time will tell though. I am battling a cold right now so I am hoping she holds off until I am feeling better. I cannot imagine labor with a cold could be any fun. This week's picture marks the good, the bad, the sick of the pregnancy since the is my first sick picture.

We are basically ready for her but I meet with a pediatrician on Friday and will be happy when that is squared away. She is welcome to make her appearance anytime after Friday night. Things are starting to get exciting!

Tuesday, August 3, 2010

36/37 week appointment

I just got home from my doctor appointment. All is well with Beany and I. Apparently she is very very low and my cervix is soft but not dilated yet. The doc seemed rather surprised at how low she was b/c she said it like 4 times and then asked if I had a family history of delivering early. LOL So I go back next week but we shall see if I make it there....

Sunday, August 1, 2010

Carseat installation = check

We installed the carseat today and it gets inspected tomorrow. The bad news of the week is that my car was stolen on Wednesday night. The thought of figuring out what we are going to replace it with and the fact that it had to happen so freaking close to my due date stresses the hell out of me. ugh! I wish I could just ignore it but we cannot be a one car family. Shoot me now.

36 weeks/100th post!

4 weeks left, 1 until full term! Can you believe it?!? I sure cannot! I have really slowed down over the last week and I feel like she is REALLY low. This maybe TMI but I feel like my groin muscles are the only thing keeping her from making her grand entrance. I got a lot of work done on her room and getting her stuff organized this week. Our wonderful family and friends have been showering her with gifts and Beany is very very thankful! She told me so! :)

So in general I am pretty uncomfortable these days from her sitting so low and my carpel tunnel has gotten a lot worse so I finally had to break out a wrist brace. It is oh so attractive. It is really starting to feel real since it finally looks like we have a baby moving into the apartment. We are going out this weekend to pick up some of the small things she still needs. Beany...I am hoping to meet you sooner rather then later!

So here are some pictures of her room and a few items from some very special people!

Thank you Mallory and Derek!

Thank you Kellie!

Thank you Mom and Dad!

Here is one just b/c Zaxby is just so darn cute!

Birthing and Newborn Care Class Complete

So we are about a month or two behind the game on this one as most people in our class are due in late September and October, but we completed our two day class today. It was a lot better then I thought it was going to be. It was two long days though. I was excited to find out that the nursery will provide cloth diapers for her while she is in he hospital and we got to practice with them today. I did not even know that was a possibility until this week.

I am not sure if the class made me feel better or more nervous about everything though. We did discover the hospital cafeteria has really good food. LOL It was quite a wake up call when we went through all the possible labor signs that can occur up to a month out and I have already experienced most of them. No wonder we were sent to the hospital last weekend.

Tonight I did some more work on Beany's room and got her clothes all organized. I really need to go out and get her some more newborn/0-3 footie sleepers as she does not have many. Good thing I love to buy clothes for her.

35 Weeks

5 weeks to go, 2 until full term. It is really getting close now. I am starting to swell back up which I am not too thrilled about but I have actually been sleeping better. I am not sure what changed but you wont see me complaining. Our entire weekend is going to be spent at the hospital for childbirth/infant care class. We get our official tour of the maternity ward as well. (By the way I think she dropped this week, you can really see it looking at last weeks photo compared to this one)

I have gotten some more work done on Beany's room and thought I would give a sneak peak but we have a long way to go.

Thursday, July 22, 2010

Yay for cute diapers

Beany's prefolds and covers arrived yesterday! I am so happy with how they turned out. The picture is a sampling of her newborn and small size covers. Now I just need to get the prefolds prepped and then we are good to go. I have a sample of a new detergent to try before I start washing everything.

Don't worry...my 35 week update will come tonight. Michael took the picture last night and needs to process the picture. And btw...don't forget to enter my due date pool!

34 Week Doc Appt

So I had my regular scheduled appointment today and it happened to be with my doctor from Saturday which was nice. Beany is doing well and is still head down. She is locked and loaded! :) I call the doc tomorrow to find out if I stay on my antibiotic or not and I found out the UTI irritated my uterus which is what caused all of my cramping. Other then that we are both doing fine and I am off to find a carpel tunnel wrist brace. I hear they are the height of fashion right now.

I go back in two weeks for the start of my weekly appointments and at that appointment I get tested for group B strep and checked for dilation again. Let me tell you how much fun this was this weekend. NOT!

In other news, my very good friend Kara gave birth to her baby girl, Anna Caroline, today! She is beautiful and momma and baby are doing well. Congratulations Kara and Tony! I am dying to be in Boston right now so I could go visit them but I will have to wait until November.

1st trip to Labor and Delivery

Starting last night I was having some abdominal pain off and on. I did really think much about it at the time. Well I woke up in the middle of the night several times with cramps and finally just gave up on sleep at 4am b/c they were so bad. I was thinking that I must have just eaten something bad or something. Well as I was up, they started to come more frequently so 7:30am I decided to give my OB a call. She sent me into labor and delivery to be observed. We had a really nice nurse and got me all hooked up so they could measure Beany's heartbeat and any contractions. Beany was doing fine and I got to have my first internal exam...boy that was fun. But thankfully she is still locked up tight. I was having a few sporadic contractions in addition to my abdominal cramps but they had me down a lot of water under the threat of IV fluids. I did not want an IV if I could help it. So all and all it turns out I have an UTI and that is what was causing everything. So they sent me home with an antibiotic called into the pharmacy and now here we are. I am on the couch and Michael is putting the crib together. I guess it is about time we got to that! LOL

So thankfully all is fine and I should be feeling better by tomorrow and I was happy to have a good experience with this hospital since it is brand new to me.

33/34 weeks

33 Weeks

34 Weeks

okay okay...I know I missed my weekly update last week so I included both photos to this update. Please excuse my crazy hair this week but do you think she will have my curls?? The unpacking has our routine all out of whack. We are making progress though. I had been swelling really bad for the last week or so but it seems to be dong better now. It is never good when your feet swell so much that they feel like they are bruised.

Last weekend we went to Fargo for a Deutsch family reunion and that was fun but extremely exhausting. It was odd realizing we are surrounded by family up here.

I had my first doctor's appointment with my new office on Monday and I love them! Beany and I are doing great. We also had our breastfeeding class that evening at the hospital and that was very informative and helpful. I have another appointment next Monday with the doc and then I get a two week break and then I start my weekly appointments...CRAZY!

I feel like now that the swelling is better it means something else is going to come up. I am going to need to talk to my doctor about pregnancy induced carpel tunnel as I am having problems with my hands going numb especially during the night.

Thursday, July 8, 2010

My poor poor feet!

I think my feet have decided they are done being pregnant. They are so swollen and just ache from it now.

This is even a little better since I got to soak them in the pool yesterday and now I sleep with them elevated. I am sure the doc is going to love seeing them when I go on Monday.

Sunday, July 4, 2010

Yay for sales!

Babies r us is running a big 4th of July sale and I just ordered the glider for the nursery for 25% off saving us a whooping $100! Sweet! I cannot wait for it to be delivered next week. It is the most comfortable chair I have ever sat in. :) I guess my baby shopping moratorium has been officially lifted.

Saturday, July 3, 2010

We made it!

We made it to Edina yesterday afternoon and took care of all the paperwork for our new apartment. The moving truck arrives on Monday so we are spending the weekend in a hotel and the cats are staying in the apartment. I think we could all use a little time apart after 3 solid days in the car. All in all the trip was very uneventful but yesterday Pony had enough of being in the car a screamed pretty much the entire 6.5 hour drive. That was not so much fun. I handled being in the car that long much better then I anticipated as well. Thankfully Beany did not play hockey with my bladder much so I was able to go a little longer between bathroom breaks.

I hope everyone has fun plans for their 4th of July weekend. We are going to explore around here and then start unpacking on Monday. We might go catch some fireworks tonight but we are not sure where yet.

Have a safe and Happy 4th of July!

On the Road Again....32 weeks

Please forgive the awful picture of me but this is what happens when you stick a 8 months pg woman in the car for 9 hours. (plus another 2 days after today)

So we have started our trek to Minnesota today. We are currently in DuBois, PA for the night. The movers took everything from our apartment yesterday. It was a very long but thankfully uneventful day today. Tomorrow we will make it to Chicago. So the big update this week is that I am hoping to make it through the car trip in once piece.

Over the last two weeks I have been getting progressively more uncomfortable. It took me so much effort to roll over to get out of bed the other night that Michael thought I was going into labor. Ooops! LOL Other then that, I have no complaints and everything is going well. It is just so hard to believe that I have 5 weeks from full term and 8 weeks from my due date. Can someone tell me where the time went and how I will manage to have everything ready for Beany before she arrives??

Monday, June 28, 2010

I spy a Kitty

Can you find the kitty??

This might be a problem but I find it hilarious that I found him sleeping under the mattress!

Sunday, June 27, 2010

I love a good deal!

We had a moratorium on all baby shopping until we are out in MN but today I saw that a neighbor was selling an infant swing and bassinet for $100. Sweet! I went and checked them out since both cost over $100 for each and was really happy with the shape they were in. You would never know they were used so Beany now has a bassinet and a swing! A couple less things to get now. :)

Birthing classes = check

So I had a quick appointment with the doctor this morning. She just wanted to see me one more time before we hit the road to Minnesota. It was rather uneventful and all is well with Beany and me.

Also, I finally got us registered for our child birth class and breastfeeding class. It is going to be a busy time at the end of July since the birthing class is a Saturday and Sunday and then the next Thursday is the breastfeeding class. She better stay put until then! :)

31 Weeks

Well the big move is a week from today. I have my last doctor's appointment here tomorrow morning. I am sure I will have more to update then. Beany has been moving around a lot like normal and I have not been sleeping well. But other then sore hips and a lack of sleep, all is well. All in all I don't have anything to complain about. It is hard to believe that in 6 weeks I am considered full term. I have SO much work to do before she makes her big appearance. I hope she staying cozy for awhile longer.

I will report back after my appointment tomorrow morning.

Monday, June 21, 2010

Can I whine for a second??

So I am almost 31 weeks and I am HOT, swollen, tired, and uncomfortable. It is going to be a long 9ish weeks.

Okay...I am done now.

Thursday, June 17, 2010

My loving sister aka my paparazzi

So I got my picture take today...with only like 49 others as she was following me around before my dinner started. This is what happens when you mix lack of sleep, long work hours, and us.

And here is this interesting video she took....

30 Weeks

So I planned on having a photo for this week but I managed to get dinner all over my shirt so the picture will not be happening.

I am in Atlanta this week gearing up for a 400 person dinner tomorrow night. I am SOOOO ready for it to be over. Beany and I had a doctor's appointment before I caught my flight on Tuesday and we both got a clean bill of health. She is continuing to grow nicely. She is getting close to 3 pounds now. In general I am still feeling great but my sleep cycle is entirely messed up now. I am dying to be able to sleep and its not b/c I am uncomfortable but I just seem to have general insomnia now. I hear that this may continue until Beany is born.

In other news, it looks like we have a move date now. The big day looks to be June 29th or 30th. I am so ready to be out there and settled now. I want to have plenty of time to get eveything settled for Beany before her big arrival.

I promise there will be a picture next week as I will do the pictures before dinner. :)

ETA: There will be a picture tomorrow. The official proclamation came from Kellie.

Sunday, June 13, 2010

It's offical...I am losing my mobility

My maternity jeans are too long since I have super duper short legs and now I can no longer bend over enough to cuff my own pants. Sadness....

29 Weeks

Big news...We are moving to Minnesota in about 2 weeks. Michael got a new job in Edina, MN and we will be making the big trek out there soon. Time is just flying by now! I cannot believe I will be 30 weeks next week. I think these last 11 weeks are going to fly by especially with the move. Beany is working on 3 pounds now and it is size of a spaghetti squash. I am still feeling great besides a few aches here and there. We are really started to get excited for her arrival now. I feel like the end is starting to become in sight now. That is exciting and terrifying at the same time.

I am off to Atlanta for most of next week so I will be reporting in from there for the next weekly update.

3D Ultrasound

This morning Beany had her 3D ultrasound. She did great and even better news is that she flipped. yay for no more breech baby! So without further ado here she is in her photo shoot:

28 Weeks

We are getting so close to the last 10 weeks now. There was the big update yesterday since I had to go into the doctor's office and the hospital. She is getting so big now. She just over 2.5 pounds now. Last weekend we went out to TX for the baby shower. We had such a great time but boy it was an exhausting trip. There will be an update with pictures later from there. But here is a sneak peak at my awesome diaper cake!

I have my 28 week doctor's appointment tomorrow morning as well as my glucose test. I don't know why, but I am pretty sure I am going to fail the 1 hour test and have to take the 3 hour one. I start my 2 week appointments this week. We are really starting to get exciting about meeting Beany but I hope she plans on cooking awhile longer!

One very willful child

Beany is just kicking up a storm today. We are in trouble with her I think!

Interesting day

So over the past several days Beany has not been very active. I decided today that I should probably call the doc since it had been longer then I was comfortable with. Well the nurse has me do some kick counts this morning and based on that, they have me come in for a nonstress test. This measures her heartbeat, movements, and contractions continuously for about an hour. She moved only once during that whole time and that earned me a ultrasound at the hospital. Thankfully once they started the ultrasound she started moving up a storm. She gave the tech a run for her money to get the images she needed. So in the end all is well but she did give me a hard time! She is not even here yet and she is giving us a run for our money. I did get a couple good pictures of her though!

On a happier note, she is getting so big now! She is 2 pounds 7 ounces now and measuring perfectly! I was able to see her "breathing" and even her fully formed front teeth that are in her gums. It was really cool!
